Hello Venus debut mini-album ‘Venus’ released



Pledis Entertainment‘s new girl group Hello Venus has finally debuted with the release of their mini album ‘Venus‘.
‘Venus’ features 4 tracks in all with “Hello” serving as the electronica introduction, “Excitement” featuring the group’s ballad vocals, and their title track “Venus“, which is produced and composed by Cho Young Soo and Kim Tae Hyun with lyrics written by Kim Lee Na.

New girl group She’z debuts with “My Way” on ‘Music Core’

 Rookie girl group She’z has already captured the hearts of Korea’s biggest comedians, and now they’re ready to grab the attention of future fans.

Made up of Lee JinahLee TaeyeonKim Seyeon, and Kim Jiyoung, 4-member girl group She’z has debuted with their title song “My Way“.

All the members studied Voice at major arts schools, and they are receiving attention as the “art school voice major all stars”. Aside from having the looks and the vocal talent, the girls are multi-talented entertainers who have experience with CFs, MV features, and even musicals.

Davichi and 2BiC show their support for producer Cho Young Soo’s “A Night Like This”


Female vocal duo Davichi showed their support for producer Cho Young Soo by featuring on his digital single, “A Night Like This” for his signature ‘All Star‘ album.
Although Davichi is currently busy with their acting and musical activities, they dutifully answered Cho Young Soo’s request for their featuring. Davichi and Cho Young Soo are known to have a strong friendship since their debut and have become a successful pair after their Cho Young Soo produced song, “Love and War“, became a hit in 2008.
Davichi also lent their vocals for Cho Young Soo’s ‘All Star’ songs, “A Thousand Longings” in 2008 and “From Me To You” in 2010.
In addition to the talented female duo, rookie vocalist group 2BiC also featured alongside for the new single, “A Night Like This”.

Recently, a girl’s fashion magazine, Wannagirls revealed a pictorial of Min Ah. The pictorial with the subject “travel” was shot as a theme for Min Ah’s Secret Travel Notes. Min Ah created a stir by showing off her lively and unique charms.
She especially showed off her perfect figure. Even though the picture was taken right on the spot without any modifications, her perfect body stood out.

PV Teaser for After School’s upcoming Japanese single “Lady Luck” revealed


After School (AFTERSCHOOL) will be releasing their 4th Japanese single, “Lady Luck / Dilly Dally” on June 13th.
It’s a double A-side single meaning that both “Lady Luck” and “Dilly Dally” will be title tracks. “Lady Luck” is a ‘kira kira girly’ song and is the theme song to the “Samantha Thavasa ALL STARS” commercial. A teaser for the “Lady Luck” PV (Music Video) recently aired in Korea, showing a bit of their choreography.
As the song is tied in with Samantha Thavasa, it seems some of the choreography will incorporate the ladies using a Samatha Thavasa handbag.

Girls’ Generation members sweep the Friday night broadcasts


Hallyu superstars Girls’ Generation, who are no strangers when it comes to the art of winning, has set a unique yet impressive record as its members swept all three major networks with wins in various shows.
On Friday May 18th, Girls’ Generation unit group TaeTiSeo won their second consecutive #1 on KBS‘s ‘Music Bank‘, in which Tiffany proudly gave thanks by saying, “I am happy for the love that led to this #1, and I am happy to be Girls’ Generation!
Over in SBS, Girls’ Generation’s maknae Seohyun made her own mark by winning the MVP on ‘100 Million Quiz Show‘. Her win was all the more impressive when it is taken into account that she was the first winner who made it through without missing a single question. Her flawless performance proved that her charming beauty was matched by an equally impressive brain.
The domination of Girls’ Generation did not end there, thanks to dancing queen Hyoyeon‘s win on MBC‘s ‘Dancing With the Stars 2‘. Her sexy tango routine not only showed off her versatility in dance, but also moved the audience to acknowledge her skills as number 1.
It seems Girl’s Generation once again made the fans and viewers of the Friday night broadcasts “feel the heat”.

miss A’s Suzy and Her Handsome Father

Girl group miss A's Suzy is gaining much attention for her handsome father, who was recently revealed on TV. On May 19, the G6 members (Sunny, Hyoyeon, Suzy, Kang Ji Young, Bora, Yewon) on KBS "Invincible Youth 2" had a party and invited their friends and family. The party was to celebrate their first harvest of lettuce they personally grew.

On this day's broadcast, Suzy's guest was her father, who visited her by traveling from Gwangju all the way to Daebu Island. After seeing her father, she couldn't hide her happiness to see him and kept smiling throughout the show.

Netizens who saw Suzy's handsome father commented, "They totally look alike," and "Daughter is a beauty, father is a good-looking man."
 On May 18th, KBS ‘Invincible Youth 2‘ revealed a picture of miss A‘s Suzy and her dad filming for the show.
Suzy and the rest of the G6 members had their first harvest of the lettuce that they grew themselves and to celebrate, the members invited their families and close friends for a samgyupsal party.
Suzy’s guest was her dad, who traveled all the way from Gwangju in the early morning to Daebu Island to see his daughter. She ran to her father and embraced him right as he came out and could not hide her joy at seeing him.
The two showed a lovable father-daughter relationship throughout the filming. She linked arms with her dad and gave him a tour of the whole set and her dad could not help but smile as he looked at his daughter.
Even when they were off the camera, the two continued to hold hands and shared an enjoyable time bonding. A staff member commented on the two’s relationship saying, “Suzy becomes a baby when she’s with her dad. Even I started to feel good after seeing Suzy being so happy while spending time with him.
